Medical Guardian is a predatory agency, they are very expensive and even after canceling several years ago, an account we set up for my grandma they continue to try and charge us. I can only imagine that they are operating the same way with the old adult community they serve. It is also super difficult to reach anyone within Medical Guardian to cancel or dispute charges.
It appears that Medical Guardian was turning this feature off but continued to charge us for it. I called to complain each time, and MG promptly turned the feature back on again only to shut it off again a few days later. This happened numerous times, and each time the reps explained that the device had to "jiggle" more in order to register a fall. So we intentionally dropped the device on her bed several times and it never registered a fall.

I wouldn't buy this product due to the ridiculous customer service. I would not put my mother's life in the hands of this horrible company!! If I could give them zero stars, I would! I can't imagine an older person trying to get help from this heartless company!!
